I watched Marvel movies for the first time
I know I am late, or rather super late to the party, but I watched Marvel movies for the first time.
In the last week I have seen in total 7 movies. I usually watch them a lot and go to the movies about once a week. I love it. The popcorn, giant soda, M&M's, laying back and losing 2 hours in a story is the best for me. Did I mention the popcorn?
Anyways, last Tuesday I went to see the Avengers: Infinity war. I've never watched any of the Marvel movies or superhero movies before, because I just wasn't interested, and there is too many of them. I had only seen some iconic Batman's, or catched a glimpse of Iron man and the first Avengers movie on TV. I went to see the Infinity war only because I LOVE crossovers. Remember when Steve Urkel came to the Full House house? Come on, it was lit. So now I see this poster with Hulk, Iron Man, Chris Pratt and Black Panther and like everyone ever and I had to go see it.
So I went and I didn't understand shit at first. Who is Thanos, why does he want some shiny colorful stones, why is Zoe Saldana green, why is there a talking raccoon here, how can Benedict Cumberbatch look this cool, why is Elizabeth Olsen just standing there without a cool costume. So many questions. Even so - I LOVED IT. It was funny, I got chills when Black panther said Wakanda Forever and the fighting started, Thor is - I mean - I am only a woman and let's just say it: he made me feel things in some places, and I love when people have different powers and then they unite to fight together. It is a damn good movie. The ending was good because it wasn't expected and I loved that.
Next thing I knew, I agreed to watch all the Marvel movies in chronological order. And there is around 17 of them. I officially became one of those people. And let me tell you, it was probably one of the best weekends ever.
So let's review the movies I have seen and perhaps someone can answer my burning questions.
Captain America: The first Avenger
We watched this sort of on and off. It was an acceptable movie. Why Chris Evans' head was put on a CGI child body is beyond me, but the scene where he transforms and his abs are revealed, I mean - very important for the story and for the history of our time in general. There are some good actors there too. Basically what I got was that the Captain without his special Stark shield, wouldn't be that special.
Iron Man

YES. Iron Man is the coolest. I mean THE coolest. Great movie. Gwyneth Paltrow is annoying as usual, but he has the coolest powers, the shiniest suit and he is funny and sarcastic. I love that he revealed to the people who he is. It's really good that he never has to fly with a plane anywhere. Fuck passports and security checks - I am Iron Man.
Rating: Would watch it again/10

Hell no. I didn't watch that. Edward Norton is just nope. Mark Ruffalo is by far the best Hulk.

Thor

I mean, ok. Good powers. Nice hammer. Funny that we see a God in the regular world. When he walks in the pet store and says "I need a horse!", that shit was pretty funny. Loki bro you need to chill. No need to kill everyone because of your daddy issues.
Rating: Loki go to therapy/10
Avengers - first movie

Loved it. Again because people unite and we see different powers in action. But I can't have Robin Scherbatsky from How I met your mother playing someone serious. Girl, go to the mall.
A few questions:
How can Hulk control his transformation all of the sudden?
How did Loki survive after the Thor movie ending?
Are Hawkeye and Black Widow doing it?
Why does Samuel L. Jackson have an eye patch?
This is an awesome franchise. I get very excited when someone suddenly shows up or uses their powers in a bad ass way. Or the scene that shows a flow of what everyone is doing. Pretty good movie.

Finally, Deadpool.
Because I didn't watch it yet. I am so fucking behind, it's sad. First of all Ryan Reynolds is awesome. This movie has a great flow, funny jokes, nice powers and it's just overall great. Can't wait for Deadpool 2 now.
Questions:
Is he immortal ?
Why is he different in Wolverine movie?
Why was he not in Avengers infinity war?

All in all, I'm here for Marvel. Their movies are funny, their characters have awesome powers and they are interesting and make me say YEEEEESSSS when ever someone shows up and fucks up the bad guys.
Now if you saw these or didn't see them, I highly recommend watching their Honest trailers. They are hilarious and actually - very true.
Until next time 😃
